Congressman Curt Weldon is currently in the news for his allegedly helping his lobbyist daughter's company get contracts illegally. Well, I looked into this today as it came on the televison. With Joe's help here is what we came up with.
     I see plainly that he did help her out in that but not consciously or willingly. He trusted in the integrity of his daughter that she would not use the information she was privy to occasionally around her him to gain an unfair advantage for her her company. Now though he did this inadvertently he still was careless in that his trust was not warranted as shown by her use of the information and the contracts awarded her company.
     He knows of two instances where she could of picked up the information when she was in his space. It is to bad that he is in this position for loving and trusting his daughter and not being perceptive enough of her true character. She was inthe right place ant the right times to get the information and was willing to make use of it unfairly to get ahead in a way undeserved. Is this going to be her learning lesson to or will she have to do more heinous things to get the lesson of integrity?
